This prototype was made and designed as part of the Gamification course in CMGT at Saxion University.

As the pandemic is coming to an end, people have gradually stopped using the disinfectant dispensers around school. So much so that the people responsible for getting them refiled sometimes forget to refill them and the dispensers remain empty for days at a time

As the name would suggest the Academy of Creative Technology is a school filled with creative people who often look to unique ways to express their creativity. That is why it’s often to see white boards across school, filled in with a lot of simple drawings left by artists. The idea is to capitalize on that, by letting people draw on a digital canvas every time they disinfect their hands with one of the dispensers. Taking inspiration from r/Place, each user will get to draw 5 pixels on a digital canvas, and work on a collaborative drawing in a certain theme. Each Saxion building will have an artwork they are working on, and every couple of weeks people will be able to vote on their favorite artwork, and the winning artwork will be displayed in a more permanent location for some time. After the time elapses, the canvases will be cleared and a new theme will be announced.  Voting will happen via website, where everyone will be able to cast one vote per day, and see a leaderboard that shows who is winning. Voting will open a up to a week after the release of the new theme.
